Yes. It was designed post-COVID with mask detection built in. It reads the visible part of your face and matches against enrolled templates. In practice, recognition is about 97–98% accurate with masks vs 99% without. What happens in low light or dark factories? The camera has supplementary LED lighting, so it handles dim environments. Pitch-black rooms aren't ideal — but any normal warehouse, shop floor, or lobby works fine, day or night. Can someone fool it with a photo of me? No. The ERIS has anti-spoofing that defeats printed photos, phone-screen photos, videos, and even 3D masks. It uses the binocular camera to check for depth and liveness. Will it work if my internet or WiFi drops? Yes. All attendance is stored on the device (up to 2 lakh punches). When your connection is back, the software pulls the data.
